General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi
i can understand your concern as many sports player visit my clinic for these type of problems.
its good that its not paining and its subsiding.
because many a time injury near knee takes more than usual time to heal as is is continuously used joint.
i will advise you to apply some ice on it but dont put direct ice on it. take ice in some cloth or in bottle.
take some rest also
it will help to recover fast

regards
Dr. Arvind
