Is It Normal To Have Bruises At The Site Of Patches Placed For ECG?

I recently had an ECG and patches were placed on my chest and abdomen. I had the test Last Monday and I have bruises where each patch was. Is this normal? My email address is YYYY@YYYY . Hi.
The patches have a adhesive which is supposed to be skin friendly, but we have seen this type of local reaction in a quite number of patients.
But his does not usually require any treatment. So just relax and tell this to your attendant at hospital next time you have this test.
