Is It Normal To Have Abdominal Pain During Pregnancy?
I am 20 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I had my 20 week ultrasound 2 days ago and everything is normal. I have 2 fibroids, one is 11 cm and another one is 4am. They did not grew in size after my 1st trimester. I been experiencing lower abdominal pain from last 2 days. First it was on both sides and now it is only on right side. It usually decreases when I lay down. The baby is on right side and I can feel the baby every now and then. Is it normal to have this pain? By the end of the day, the feel pain in my lower left back too. Is it all normal?
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion as the pain is on the right side it might be due to urinary tract infection(UTI) or renal stones or muscular pain.If you dont have fever and vomitings nothing to worry.Drink adequate fluids upto 3 litres to prevent UTI.UTI are routinely seen in pregnancy.Muscular pain might be releived by Tab.paracetamol.Take good rest and avoid physical strain. If not subsiding consult gynaecologist for ultrasound to rule out renal stones and complete urine examination to rule out UTI.Nothing to worry.
