Is It Normal To Have A Dominant Follicle Versus Small Cyst On The Ovary?

Hi, I had a ultrasound and it shows that I have a dominant follicle versus small simple cyst on my right ovary, I had a hysterectomy 10 years ago. Is it normal? The symptoms I been having is alot of back pain and I feel a lot of discomfort on my pelvic area, and I always feel bloated, what should I do.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Normally, for every menstrual cycle, there are several follicles which will start to appear. Only one becomes dominant and ruptures releasing the ovum. Other follicles are usually absorbed back to the tissues. Some might be in the form of cysts and eventually gets absorbed or may rupture.
This is due to hormonal changes which are happening and the response of ovary towards it.
Kindly follow up regularly. You need to take symptomatic treatment in the form of analgesics and practice back exercises to get better.
