Hi,

Yes, it is common to have heavy bleed because of endometrial polyp. You may also have bleeding in between menstrual cycles or if it is endocervical polyp you may also have post-coital bleeding.since how long u know you have polyp? Any other issues you have? Not to worry mostly polyps are benign conditions. But I would suggest you to have polypectomy and endometrial sampling done to rule out any grave disease of so present which a rare case.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
