Is It Necessary To Put Anti Rabies Injection After A Vaccinated Dog Bite?
Hello my 6 years old son was scratched slightly by a dog's leg of our neighbor today in the morning at 8.30 a.m. I put him tetanus injection. When I asked my neighbor about dog's vaccination, she told that it was vaccinated in April 2013. 1 and half months back a 6 years old boy was bitten by the same dog and he was also given tetanus injection only. He is all right now. What shall I do ? Shall he be put rabies vaccine or not? Please answer.

dear sir since kid is small its advisable to put vaccine.the dog saliva went in to the wound will cause rabies.if it scratched with nails no problem but bite u need to go for vaccination because for rabies there is no cure....
