Welcome to Health care magic.

1.So sorry for what she is going through- hope the better.
2.The endometrial thickness in a 55 year probably post menopausal women - can be infective / inflammatory cause which cause thickness with irregular endometrial wall with increased thickness with adjacent myometrial changes.
3.Possibilities of endometrial polyp or mass lesion can not be ruled out with out biopsy or endometrial scraping.
4.Nothing can be said with out histological evidence.
5.Hope the better and get an histology done if possible and if the treating doctor indicates you. Good luck.

Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
