Is It Advisable To Take Regestrone Every Month For Regular Menstruation?
Hi Doctor, I am a 22 year female(Unmarried). I had a irregular periods six months ago, so I consult a gynecologist. she takes scan and examined that I have pelvic inflammatory disease. so she prescribed himalayas lukol tablets (antibiotics)and regestrone tablets. After I had a regular cycle for two months. From the third month the cycle becomes irregular so i take regesterone tablets, then the periods becomes regular for next two months. This month again periods is delayed. My question is can I take regesterone for every month for getting regular periods. Is it safe?

Yes, it can be advised to take the medicine from D19 to D25 of each cycle to regularize period. Take iron supplement. Good luck.
