Is It Advisable To Switch To Mononessa Pill From Depo Shot?

been taking the depo shot for 10 yrs and my doctor told me that i should switch to the pill and prescribed mononessa. hen should i start taking the piil. she said to take at the time when i would get my next shot. that a two time period due i taking at the beginning of the 2 weeks or at the the end or what and see if i get my period havent had one in 10 yrs
