Is It Possible That The Urethra Sticks Out Past The Vagina?

I've never had sex or anything but I looked at my vaginal area today and there is a thing under my clitoris. It doesn't look like anything abnormal but I'm just not sure when it got there. Maybe I never noticed it but I'm just not sure. Is it Possible that the uretha sticks out past the vagina? Not sure.

Hi,

I guess your doubt is a thing under clitoris, whether is the urethra sticking out? Is it normal or abnormal? When an abnormal thing is noticed in our body, it drags our attention and creates a tension in mind. Its normal psychology. And in your case that abnormal thing is at your private part, that adds double tension. I can understand your situation.

From above to below, first there is clitoris, below this there is urethra, wit a gap of appox 0.5-1cm. Then, below urethra its vagina, with a gap of 1-1.5cm. This is the normal anatomy framework of every female. So, you do not have to worry. But you have told 'a thing under my clitoris', you have not given much information or description of 'A THING '. So I can't comment on a thing like structure - whether its abnormal or normal. Just check yourself:

1. Whether that thing is small round mass like, or has a stalk like attachment?

2. Does that thing has a different color that is not matching with color of nearby anatomy?

3. Does that thing is painful on touching it?

4. That thing is it increasing in size day by day?

5. Any pus or blood like at that place?

If your answer is yes for any of these above, then visit a gynecologist to cross check it. My suggestions:

1. Have patience and wait for few more days and observe it. Usually it turns out to be normal. Still, any changes happen as told above, visit a nearby gynae doctor to have a look at it.

2. As its a private part, every person would be worried like you. Its normal pyschology. So,you may visit nearby gynaec doc now itself and clarify all your doubts and get that fear thing out of our mind and lead a peaceful life. The choice is yours.

I hope this information was useful, informative and helpful to you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
