Is Irregular Bowel Movement A Cause For Concern?

My son has been having irregular bowel movements. He gets stomach pain and then goes to the bathroom. It sounds like he is having diarrhea, but his stool is regular but their is some yelowish diarrhea along with the stool, he has gas and this is proably going on for about 5 days, should i be concerned.

* Follow basic instructions for better recovery for 2 -3 days , later on if
required can consult doctor if at all required .

- Allow him plenty of liquids preferable boiled water , coconut water ,
lemon juice , butter milk .
- Soft , light diet at intervals with fresh curd preferable .
- Avoid all oily , spicy , non veg stuffs , beverages , junk foods like pizza ,
pastas , chocolates , pastries , ice creams .
- Check that he chews the food properly .
- Remain ambulatory with playing , exercises .
