Hi, my son fell on his head yesterday at around 5pm. He is still complaining of a head ache today. I took I'm to the doctor today who said its nothing to be worried about. Should I be concerned?
Thank you for your time,

Hello there Jennifer,

Well seems like your son had suffered a mild traumatic head injury. Yes your doctor was absolutely right when he said not to worry as the headache generally subsides within a few days .

Meanwhile just try applying some ice pack / bag of frozen peas over the area as there's some chance that a bump may happen .

Just keep your son under strict observation for the next 24 hrs and just restrict outdoor plays for the next 2-3 days.

Otherwise no need to worry too much but do watch out for those warning signs like sudden severe vomiting/fits/weakness of any parts of the body/loss of consciousness, and if at all happens then just check into your nearest ER for further evaluation.

Hope this will solve your concern, once again thanks a lot for contacting HCM
