Is Fluctuating TSH Levels Common While Having Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism?

Last year I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's hypothyroidism. I started out taking 50mcg of thyroxine 2nd daily, then I got put up to 50mcg a day. My TSH still fluctuates, one week levels are normal, then a few weeks later TSH is high again. Is this typical with Hashimoto's??? Also over the last few weeks I have noticed that my left eyebrow is thinning out and patchy, is this related?, and what can I do about it?

I have gone carefully through your concern.
I would like to inform you that TSH level needs 6 weeks to be corrected after you change the dose. It is not necessary to check it every week and the dose is not recommended to be changed before 6 weeks.
So, in your case the fluctuations are due to inappropriate dose changes.
The problem with eyebrow does not seem to be related to the thyroid.
