Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband is 68 years old and in general good health. Two years ago he was told he had cronic fatigue. He takes no medication for this. In the past year, he says he is cold. He never wore heavy clothes, he was always comfortable in the cool weather. Now, with the weather in the 70 s, he is wearing two layers of shirts and his hands are cool. I am concerned that there is a heart issue. Your thoughts???
please get his thyroid profile done and consult an endocrinologist. the signs you mentioned suggest low thyroid hormone. he needs medication to correct this.
