Is Fatigue,infected Bite And Headache Sign Of Malaria?
hi i have just been to guadaljara in mexico i have been back 10 days and i have a bite that has got infected i have been given some antibiotics for this, i am just worried about malaria now i have been feeling quite run down over the past few days, tired, feeling sick and headaches. i dont know if im just being parrinoid or should i see a doctor?

In malaria according to species infection fever comes at periodic interval and relieve with sweating.
Still if you have doubt regarding its diagnosis then peripheral smear examination for MP or malaria rapid card test has to be done.
Here in your cases chances of malaria seems less.But still better you do your card test to relieve stress regarding it.Card cost only 50 to 100 rs.So this sensitive method can be used.
