Is Eyesight Poor?

Went to the opticians today ... Is my eyesight bad?
I went to the opticians today and on my prescription it says:

Right:
Sph = -1.00 Cyl = -0.75 Axis = 5

Left:
Sph = -0.75 Cyl = -0.50 Axis = 165

And what do these figures mean?

Thank you

I am Male 24

Thanks =)

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having refractive error in the form of myopic astigmatism.
This does not indicate severe or high refractive error, hence no need to worry. This can be treated effectively by use of spectacles or by contact lenses.
The other option available is refractive laser surgery like lasik to correct the refractive error.

Thank you
