Is Excessive Sleep While On A BP Medication A Cause For Concern?
My mom went to ER 2 days ago for stomach pain. Her BP was way high. They brought down her pressure and gave her something for the constipation that was caused by pain meds from carpal tunnel surgery. And gave her new BP meds. She has done nothing but sleepfor 48 hrs. Her BP is not low. Back to ER?

Yes, she should be seen again by her doctor on in the ER. It may be a side effect of the blood pressure medicine but it may be some other problem. She needs to be seen as soon as possible
