Is Delayed Menstruation Despite Taking Susten Indicative Of Pregnancy?

last periods for me is november 4th now i didnt get my periods , after 3 days of my due date of my periods i did a urine test in home it comes negative after that i consulted doctor n took oral susten sr 200 mg for 5 days still i didnt get my periods or i am pregnent

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us. I have gone through the query and understood your concern. You can expect withdrawal bleeding 3-7 days after completion of the hormone treatment. Please remember that Susten is also used during pregnancy to supplement the ovarian function. So, if you are pregnant, you cannot see a period. You can go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres now to exclude/confirm pregnancy and also a trans-vaginal sonogram after a couple of days to know the status of the pelvic organs.
