Is Complete Excision Of Meningioma Possible?
Good Day! My concern is regarding my mother, who has operated Meningioma(Brain Tumour) on1996 first time T Vellore CMC hospital & which had recurred again in the same place with lot many criticallity & she has to undergo another operation in last March 2011 At Medica- Kolkata. Now physically alright but her last post operative contrast scan is showing recurrence of the tumour.Kinldy advice us whether complete excision of the tumour is possible?? Where should we contact to stop the growth of the tumour further??

Dear friend some times it is nt possible to completely excise tumour without causing damage to brain so we surgeons leave it behind . Nw nw in present situation i we like to see scans of ur mother before commenting or suggesting further treatment
