Is Brown Vaginal Discharge A Sign Of Pregnancy?

in January my period came on 13th i had sex on the 26 and the next week i had this white milky discharge with a horrible odor. my period this month was 9 days late.It came on the 21 of February. i had my usual cramps and heavy bleeding but on the 5th day i had this brown discharge and it was unusually light. Is this a sign of pregnancy? please help
i also had really bad back pains 3-4 days before my period.

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic .

2 ) As you had your periods in the month of February, you are not pregnant for sure.

If you still want to confirm then I will suggest you to get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.

3 ) Your unusual discharge before the periods and brown discharge during the periods can be due to PID - pelvic inflammatory disease.

4 ) Please get a gynec check up done, including a per speculum and per vaginal examination. I will suggest a course of broad spectrum antibiotics like Doxycycline for 5 days. Please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for the same.

Use of suitable contraceptive method like condom, will help you to prevent unwanted pregnancy and STDs.
