Is Breastfeeding Recommended When Reducing Substance Test Is Positive?

Hi, my 4 month old baby is having frequent loose stools for a month now. He is only breastfed and his reducing substance test is positive. Should i continue to breastfeed or not. I desperately want to breastfeed him

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
During prolonged diarrhea the epithelium of the intestine is damaged.
Once diarrhea stops within a week or 10 days it gets repaired.
So breast feeding has to be stopped till that time .
Latter you can breastfeed as usual.
