What Causes A Missed Period After Discontinuing Breastfeeding?
question: I haven t had a period since June 22nd and had Colposcopy 3 weeks ago.I took a $1 pregnancy test at 15 days late with negative results.also I just stopped breastfeeding so could my missed period be caused by breastfeeding ? I literally stopped breastfeeding yesterday!

During breast feeding usually there is absence of period and this normal.
But it is not always safe of not having pregnancy.
As your test for pregnancy is negative, nothing to worry, now your period will start shortly.
Meanwhile take full precautions for not having pregnancy.
