Is Bleeding And Brownish Discharge At 12 Weeks Pregnancy Normal?

Hi,I am 12 weeks pregnent.I bled at 10 weeks,it was bright red colour.I went to ER and they did scanning and said everything looks good.from next next day am experiencing brown discharge till today(12 weeks).from 4 days a strange problm,when I go to stool am getting brown discharge from vagina.is it common?

Hi,
Brown discharge suggest old collected blood. It is likely that you may have had some sub-chorionic bleed which later sealed off and this discharge which is currently seen is a result of this. You should take bed rest, avoid all stressful activity including intercourse, get regular evaluation, get a trans-vaginal sonogram once every two weeks until the pregnancy becomes stable and take progesterone supplements if necessitated. Do not strain while passing stool ans see that you are not constipated; consume fresh vegetables and fresh fruits. hope this helps.
