Is Bleeding After Intercourse Related To Lyme Disease?

I am on antibiotics for Lyme Disease, this is the 2nd round of 30 days. I am experiencing bleeding after intercourse. I am post menopausal, since 2005. I am on bioidentical HRT and have been since last Spring with no problems. The bleeding started a couple of weeks after I finished the 1st 30 days of antibiotics for Lyme. I have an appointment with my gynecologist next week. Was wondering if this bleeding could be associated with the Lyme disease.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

There are various causes for an irregular menstrual cycle and infections are one of them. Although we should not be hasty into assuming Lymes to be the cause, and best check it up by your doctor. Please visit your doctor for the same who will surely provide you with conclusive enough information.

Hppe this helps.

Best wishes.
