Is Being Asked To Repeat A Vaginal Ultrasound To Recheck Uterine Fibroids A Matter Of Worry?
I had a vaginal ultrasound at my gynecologist to recheck my uterine fibroids. I got a call the next morning from an imaging center saying she had ordered me another vaginal ultrasound at their facility. Is this a bad sign. I don t understand why she would send me out for the Same ultrasound.

This could be due to you having undergone a two dimensional ultrasound which has limited ability in diagnosis. If fibroids are suspected by two dimensional ultrasound, four dimensional ultrasound could be ordered for better assessment and visualization.
