Is Application Of Clingen CL Vaginal Pessary For Infection In 39th Week Safe?
I am 28 years old and 39 weeks pregnant and my due date is just 3 days from now i.e. 5th january 2015 . I had my urine culture done on 17/12/2014 and report is "“Few Pus Cells, epithelial cells and No Bacteria seen. Orgasm Isolated – No growth” . Is it normal ? Some white discharge is coming from my vagina.
Yesterday I felt less movements of baby and went to nearby hospital. NST and scan was done and baby is fine. Doc (not my consulting gyne) has done Internal examination, a white sticky substance was there which is also sometime getting discharged from me. That doc said that it is some kind of infection and has recommended “ CLINGEN – CL vaginal pessary “ 1 per night for three days. Should I apply this medicine ? I called my hospital and there duty doctor had suggested "candid vaginal pessary v3". I am unable to reach my gyne. Which pessary if required should I apply. Is it safe for baby ? Is it safe to apply at this point of time when I am only 3 days far from my due date.
Or is it normal to have some white discharge sometimes ?
Please sugest.

I understand your concern.
Actually to have thick mcoid discharge from vagina is supposed to be normal in 39th week of pregnancy- it is due to babby gradually progressing down in pelvis.
Your urine dies not show any specific abnormality. If you have symptoms like itching/burning in urination along with white discharge-- you can use Tab, Clingen CL vaginal as advised by your doctor.
Even if there are no symptoms,I would suggest to get Vaginal swab microscopic* culture test if needful-- to exclude the infection.
Clingen vaginal pessary has local irritation as side effect ,so should be avoided at the nick of delivery time.Candid vaginal pessaries are better for use in such case.
