Is Accidental Over Dose Of Pediatric Chewable Vitamins Dangerous For Children?

This morning my 3 and 4 year olds snuck into the cabinet while I was nursing thier little brother and some how opened a bottle of children s chewable vitamins. Between the two of them they are 34 gummy vitamins. Do I need to take them to the er or call poison control? It has been almost 2 hours and they are acting normal.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Hopefully their bodies can overcome on their own but keep an eye on them. If they appear to be drowsy, stomach ache, nausea or vomiting or abdominal pain, which is unlikely, take them immediately to the ER.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Fahum Akhter, General & Family Physician
