Dosage of augmentin pediatric

hi there, i am doing pharmacy technician course at the moment and i need to know the dosage of augmentin paediatric 125mg/31.25mg per 5ml powder for oral suspension. The only information given is that he is suffering from a middle ear infection, his not allergic to penicillin and weighs 1 stone 12 lbs. Can you please help me i m unsure as to how to calculate the dosage. Many thanks

hi dear,and welcome to healthcare magic....
the dose of augmentin is 25 to 40 mg /kg body weight/ about 130mg per 24 hours for this baby....

this means in 5 ml of oral suspension there is 125 m of amoxycillin and 32.5 m of calvunic acid
the dose will be i tea spoon full of suspension thrice a day
