Is A Thin Endometrial Lining Normal?

Transabdominal and transvaginal study was performed. The endometrial lining is not thickened measuirng 5mm. Is this normal? Also my right ovary has a volume of 9cc and demonstrates a dominant folicle of 1.8cm. No Free fluid. What does that mean? Thanks so much

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Pregnancy will not occur when the endometrial thickness is less than 6 mm. All other parameters are normal. The ovarian volume and follicular size are very well within normal limits. Consult a gynecologist and get evaluated to look for any possible causes like low estrogen or fibroids.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
