Is A Resting Heart Rate Of 148 Bpm Normal?

Is my resting heart beat of 148 beats per minute normal, because I know it s not? I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder over 10 years ago and I ve been taking 20 milligrams of lexapro and three 1mg klonipin a day for the last couple of years, but recently I moved to Ohio on my own and stress and everything else is just killing me and I have panic attacks. This isn t even one of them and I m resting at 148 bpm according to my phone. I need to be re-diagnosed.

hi.

no, resting heart rate of 148 beats per minute is not normal. it is best if you do a follow-up consult with your doctor for clinical evaluation. avoid the things that are causing you stress for now, and the things that might aggravate it such as lack of sleep, caffeine and sugar intake, while waiting for your doctors appointment. adjustment of your medications may be done. diagnostics and management will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
