Hi there,
After going through your question, I am of the opinion that:
1) Missed periods is a sign of pregnancy.
2) Sometimes, due to delayed conception, the baby would be too small to be seen on ultrasound, but the blood test becomes positive even before the urine test.
3) Urine test is not a very reliable test for pregnancy detection, both false positive and false negative results are known to occur.
4) I suggest you repeat the urine pregnancy test and if positive, go for a blood test called serum beta HCG again.
5) If both are negative, you can be sure it is not a pregnancy and missed periods is due to some other reason like hormonal imbalance, stress or some ovarian pathology.

Hope this answer was helpful,
Regards,
Dr. Shikha Shah
