Is A Late Period After Unprotected Intercourse Due To A Pregnancy?
my question is what is the chance my girlfriend is pregnant, we had unprotected sex yesterday and shes supposed to get her period today. last month it came at like 8 or 9pm and today she hasnt gotten it yet. should we expect it to come later in the night like last time or should we be worried?
Hello dear I understand your concern Unprotected sex just before the expected period date does not cause pregnancy. Sometime period can be delayed by 2-3 days and it is completely normal. You should think about the pregnancy when period is delayed by 8-10 days. But i think in your case, period will come in the next 2-3 days. If period will delay then causes of delayed period other than pregnancy like hormonal imbalance, ovarian cyst, endometriosis should be investigated by consulting the gynecologist. Avoid stress, do regular exercise, take healthy diet with fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Hope this may help you
