Is Tobramycin Dexameth Opth Susp For Nostril Right Medication For Swollen Gerlach Tonsil In Ear?

I have swelling of the tonsil of gerlach (not sure if I spelled it right) in my left ear and My Doctor gave me Tobramycin-Dexameth ophth susp 2 drops in my nostril 2 x per day. The bottle says for external use only should I be concerned. He did tell me he was giving me eye drops for my ear to put in my nose and I thought he was joking.

hello,
there is a tube behind the nose which connects to the middle part of ear, if lymph nodes around it enlarges then we need to put drops which decongest o decease the edema or swelling around the tube opening.
For that purpose nasal drops are prescribed.
It is correct you can use it.
