Is Sulfacetamide Sodium Ophthalmic Effective In The Treatment Of Conjunctivitis?
Can I use sulfacetemide sodium ophthalmic solution for pink eye. I have been exposed to my grandchildren, and my eyes were gritty today, with a small amount of secretion this morning...just want to know, since the dr is pretty distant, and I have a hip problem, making it hard to travel.

No I haven't used it since so many years . Use some newer grades of antibiotics like Moxifloxacin molecule . The thing is 80% of conjunctivitis is viral so doesn't matter it should get okay in a week but we prescribe antibiotics to prevent secondary bacterial infection.
