Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
So my boyfriend and I were messing around and he put a condom on correctly and went about 2.5 inches at most inside me. He didn t cum or anything, but there might have been some pre-cum. A couple of times, the condom slid down a little bit and then by the end he noticed it had ripped at the base of the condom. I am not sure if any pre-cum got inside of me, and I don t want to become pregnant. Should I take plan B? Please help!
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Getting pregnant by contact with pre-ejaculatory fluid is rare but always carries a risk. It is advisable to emergency contraceptive pill like Plan B in such a case. Plan B needs to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse to avoid accidental or unwanted pregnancy. The pill would offer protection against pregnancy by causing breakthrough bleeding within 3 weeks from the day of pill intake. In case you do not get bleeding within 3 weeks, you need to seek medical attention immediately. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
