What Causes Delayed Period And Back Pain After Taking I-pill Followed By Sex?

Hello I had unprotected intercourse with my wife 3 days back and she took I pill with in 72 hours,then we had another unprotected intercourse on next day. Is there any chances of her being pregnant. As her periods got delayed but she has pain in her back since thn.

Hello I understand your concern.
You had unprotected intercourse on the next day of taking I -pill. So there are few chances of her getting pregnant. But as her periods are delayed, you should conduct one Urinary Pregnancy test (UPT). This will help you to know her pregnancy status. Accordingly further management can be planned.
Periods sometimes are delayed by 3-5 days due to stress so make her calm and comfortable. My advice is rather than using I-pill you should use monthly Oral contraceptives pill or condoms. Emergency contraceptive pills are only for emergency and dont make it a habit.
For back pain, you can give her painkiller.
