Is Mometasone Furoate Cream Advisable To Cure Red Spot On Penis Head?

I have red spot on my penis head. I have consulted physician he prescribed me a mometazone furoate cream and antibiotics it helps me but it again reappears at the same location , it is happening since 4 months. Red spot becomes white and disappears after sometime it reappears again, the red patch is painless and non itchy. I had a protected sex 3 year back.

Mometasone cream is a topical corticosteroid that may be used in treating itching, redness, and swelling of many skin conditions.
The treatment of such spots will depend on the cause.Possible causes of such spots may include: local skin irritation/allergy, local skin bacterial or fungal infections or STI like syphilis and herpes.
Recurrence of symptoms on mometasone cream and antibiotic may suggest the treatment was not well and completely administered or the germ in cause did not respond to molecules.I will suggest you see the Dermatologist for evaluation.A syphilis and herpes test may be helpful here.From the results of the tests, treatment options may be discussed.
