Does Mometasone Furoate Cure Scabies?

hello I would like to know does mometasone furoate 0.1% be able to cure scabies, my brother was given the creme by a doctor , also I would like to mention he is handicapped , If that has any effect as we have permethrin but it s my prescription and we have 1 full tube left

1. Mometasone is a corticosterid and scabies is a ectoparasite so as such their is no role in treating. And truly speaking it may become counterproductive also.
Although it may give some symptomatic relief from itiching.

2. Permithrin 5% is very effective drug. It has to be applied all over the body below skin. Ideally all people in the contact should also apply to prevent infection. Handicapped ? without knowing the actual cause and extent cannot be commented but generally it is not a contrdiction/ barrier for its use.

3. Ivermectin tablet (oral) is another effective drug.
