Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Meprate is medroxyprogesterone acetate which is given to regulate the periods and induce withdrawal bleeding.
It is known to be associated with risk of congenital anomalies like heart anomalies in the fetus, when taken in early pregnancy. It has no adverse effect on the mother.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
