Hi, I usually take the contraceptive pill marvelon but have just opened my repeat prescription and have found they ve given me levest this time (I presume by mistake as there was some confusion by the pharmacist). Is it safe to take this and if I do will I notice any changes or should I return my prescription tomorrow and pick up the right one?
Marvelon and levest are different brands of the same contents, so you need not return levest as it has the same desired effect as Marvelon. Your pharmacist did not make a mistake, you can take levest in the same manner as marvelon was taken.
Best wishes.
