Is Fertigyn 10000 Effective In Treating Infertility Issue?

We are having a problem of pregnancy dr has given fertigyn 10000 injection to my wife i am just worried for the what purpose this injection given and also want to know that whether this will help for pregnancy and also want to know what are the side effects for this

Fertigyn 10,000 IU (chorionic Gonadotrophin)
Indication for your wife ;
Anovulatory infertility single dose of 5000 -10000 IU .
Up to 3 repeated injections of up to 5000 IU may be given the following 9 days to PREVENT CORPUS LUTEUM insufficiency in female ( after pregnancy ) .
So this is an indication for which this injection was advised to your wife.
As far as side effects , these are minor in comparison of benefits .
These are headache , irritation , restlessness , fatigue edema, pain at the site of injection .
Other side effects are rare .
