Is Evista Advised For Long Term Use?

I have taken EVISTA for almost 10 years. the quack that gave it to me did not even monitor me...I had to ask for another bone scan after almost 10 years. and now I have a -2.1 T score in my lower back. I am one who eats right and exercises...I also took calcium and vitaminD...do Evista is not as good as they say

Hello.Raloxifene is a drug less effective than the gold standard drugs against osteoporosis called Bisphosphonates (alendronate, risedronate) but is useful for prevention of osteoporosis. When a doctor prescribes a drug for symptoms and signs of menopause, he must consider its effectiveness and adverse effects.
Raloxifene is effective in treating signs and symptoms of menopause and also protects against breast cancer and uterine cancer.
