Does Tomoxifen Affect The Varicose Veins In Legs?

I will be starting tamoxifen treatment shortly. I've been told about the risks and possible side effects but I forgot to tell the doctor that I have varicose veins in my legs. Will that be a problem with tamoxifen and it's increased risk of thrombosis?

Thanks for your consultaion at HCM:
I have gone through your case history and my advise To you not to start the TAMOXIFEN if u have got VARICOSE VEINS in your legs as it will aggravates the underlying varicose veins and may cause thrombosis in veins. Again it depends upon the severity of the varicose veins but until and unless your doctor examines you you should not take TAMOXIFEN..
Hope you question has been answered appropriately and if u still has got any querries plz feel free to ask .
Regards
