Is Erlotinib The Best Treatment Option For Metastatic Lungs Adenocarcinoma?

Hi, my father (age-64) is diagnosed with metastatic lungs adenocarcinoma (Stage-IV). After lymphnode excession biopsy it found EGFR Mutation +ve. So, doctors prescribed Erlotinib oral tables for him. Is it best treatment option for him? Or chemotherapy to be started? Please suggest.

Hello dear. In a case of metastatic EGFR + lung adeno ca, erlotinib has got the survival advantage as well as easy to tolerate in comparison with chemotherapy. So go ahead with it without a second thought.
