Is Eltroxin Contraindicated With Tea Or Coffee?

whether I can drink tea or coffee before or after taking eltroxin tablet in the morning. Am 50 years old, 5.1" height and have undergone thyroiductomy for removal of the left lobe of my thyroid gland in 1997. I am taking 150 mg of eltroxin per day - 100 mg in the morn and 50 mg in the night before dinner. My TSH level is lower than the required minimum. What should I do. My T3 & T4 levels are fine.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

Eltroxin is not contraindicated with tea or coffee.

Your are taking eltroxin so you must have hypothyroidism.

Your TSH level is lower then normal range.
So you need to reduce the dosage of eltroxin.

Consult your treating doctor and set the dosage of eltroxin.
