Is Dermovate Effective In Removing Skin Pigmentation?

hello doc! I want to ask how to remove skin pigmentation. I was using SPF15 loreal cream, dermovate cream but till now i have these big dark brown both my cheeks. Now i am trying to use green tea bags and rub it on my face. please i need your help with this. thanking you in advance.

Hi,

Dermovate contains clobetasol which belongs to the group of medications known as topical corticosteroids is used on the skin to treat swelling, itching and irritation. It can help with skin problems like eczema or contact dermatitis, psoriasis, lichen planus, lupus, depigmentation of skin etc. It's much stronger than other steroid creams like hydrocortisone 1% strength. This medication is for external use on the affected areas of skin only.

You should not use Dermovate as a moisturizer. If this medication is used long term, on large areas of skin, raw or broken skin, skin folds or under airtight dressings they are absorbed into the body more. Don't apply this medication to broken or infected areas of skin, unless the infection is also being treated and don't apply it to the face unless instructed to by your skin specialist and then for no more than five days.
