Is Calpol Sufficient For Fever In 6 Months Old?
Hi, My 6month old is running a fever and has been laughing in his sleep. He s had some settling in sessions at nursery (4@1 hour each) due to go full time next week but it was reported scarlet fever is doing the rounds locally. He has red blotchy cheeks rough to the touch but no rash as yet has developed anywhere else on his body. Is calpol sufficient or does he need antibiotics ?

please first of all donot worry for little fever. you need to get a thermometer at home and check the temperature of the baby when you feel he is hot.donot use unnessary medication.sometime baby may have tooth eruption with fever.panadol syp. is safe in children according to body weight dose when they really need it.
