How Can High Fever In A Toddler Be Treated?

My child is 3.5 years old. He is having fever fluctuating upto 102f since 2 days. Am giving Calpol 250 every 6/8 hours as fever reoccurs. After giving Calpol the fever goes in about an hour. When there is no fever he is completely playful. But right now it s been almost 3 hours after giving Calpol ,still the fever has not gone below 102f. Can I give him meftal p.pleaze help.

Hello dear. Welcome to Healthcaremagic. I read your query and I understand your concern. You can use acetaminophen 15 mg per kg of body weight every 4- 6 hours for fever below 38.5 and over 38.5 ibuprofen 10 mg kg body weight. 7ml calpol
