Is Amoxicilin Effective For Severe Pain And Blood In Urine?
Hi my daughter has blood on her pee and she has unbearable pain right now, hospital is already close so i cnt brng her, i have left amoxicilin on my medicine cabinet that i used when my doctor prescribe it to me for my cough...can i gave it to her until morning that when hospitl is already open?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic used to treat infections, especially of that of respiratory tract. Your daughter is having pain in the abdomen with blood in urine, which indicates there is some problem associated with kidneys and urinary tract. Hence, giving amoxicillin might not be helpful for her. Kindly get her evaluated by consulting Urologist to know what could be the cause, so that appropriate treatment could be instituted. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
