Is Amlodipine Necessary Over A Long Period Of Time?

I have been taking amlodipine for 4 years and do not really need it. My BP was 125 over 85 without the BP pill all last week when I voluntarily stopped taking it. Is it okay to stop cold turkey. I am feeling some anxiety but I am on lithium and alprazolam the past 22 years. Could I be having an interaction between amlodipine and lithium? The only reason my family doctor put me on it was because in the office visits it would jump to 140/90. I think I have the white coat syndrome, I have a cuff at home and it is never high at home.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, anti-psychiatric drug and antihypertensive medicine can not be taken together and it is really matter of concern better to have a word with doctor or see the psychiatrist if not visited yet, hope this information helps.
